We stayed at a great house that had this beautiful mountain within view most of the time. Loved seeing it in the distance. We drove as far as you could up the mountain - can't say much about that experience. Might be best viewed from a distance.

Such a beautiful mountain when covered with snow. Elegant and distinctive available to see from many different directions. As someone from the Northeast originally, I miss mountains covered with snow. Humphrey's Peak satisfies my nostalgia .

I visited during winter so with snow being everywhere, it was a lovely atmosphere. The view all around is beautiful. Definitely worth the visit.

The best, toughest hike I've done. I don't hike too much, but I consider myself an outdoorsman. I made it with my 12 year old daughter, who is one tough cookie. I could count the number of people under 18 years old hiking the peak on one hand that day. We made it up and back in 10 hours flat.... More

I'm originally from Wisconsin, and I've never climbed anything so I didn't know what to expect. The trail for the most part was easy to follow, offering breathtaking views, especially from the top. The people I met (along with fellow Wisconsinites) were super friendly and would help you out if needed (thankfully I didn't need any). BRING HIKING BOOTS AND... More

Went up this peak with my wife and we found it a good challenge, but a well marked and clear enough path to avoid frustration. Getting up to the top was a great payoff as well, with plenty of unobstructed viewing area in all directions and a very different climate than you saw on the the way up, including snow... More

This is an aggressive hike with some challenges but a huge pay off. It starts with a brief walk through a meadow then immediately begins to climb via switchbacks. You pass through some beautiful forest and the landscape is always changing. There are a couple of great vistas but you are pretty much in the forest until you get to... More

This isn't a hike for the faint hearted. It's pretty tough with the altitude so you need to be pretty fit and determined. If you are, this is totally amazing! The views are just incredible .

Omg!!! What a hike!!! Let's be real .... It's the hike that you have to be in shape!!! I run 2-3 miles, 3-4 days a week and I was struggling at the last 1 mile of the hike!!! I felt accomplished when I reached the top!! The incredible view 😍😍 make sure to carry lots of water, Gatorade and snacks.... More

Great hike, more difficult than I expected, due mostly to the altitude. Bring lots of extra water and snacks as we came across a few other hikers who were not prepared and it felt good to share with them.
