Great place to snowboard for all skill levels. Lots of space but be sure to get to the mountain early so you wont be turned away.

We had a great time, but there aren't many option of hotels near snow bowl, we where in a group class and the teacher was very grumpy so the next day my oldest son and me took a private class with Justine, he is a great teacher, we really have a great time with him. You have to arrive early,... More

Nice little ski place that's fun. New lift helps things quite a bit but it can get real busy, especially on weekends/holidays. No one will mistake it for Colorado but nothing wrong with this local ski spot.

Great little ski/snowboarding resort close to Phoenix. The lodge is good for food and drinks. Have specials online.

I had not skied in about 8 years and I had a wonderful day! The only bad part was the incredibly long wait to rent skis. The lines for the lifts went pretty fast because the lift operators are organized. There are many, wide, exciting runs, so you don't have to do the same run over an over. The run... More

WEnt here are skied for the day. We rented our skis else where and arrived about 45 minutes before the lifts opened. It was ideal, we did not have to walk a mile to the car. The staff was helpful in all areas of the day of skiing.

Arizona may not immediately come to mind when one thinks of ski-ing, but Snowbowl, in Flagstaff, will quickly convince you that there is a lot of fun to be had out here. Whilst the resort is not huge, there are sufficient trails to keep all levels of skiers happy and the newly-installed snow-making equipment makes for more consistent snow coverage.... More

Took a weekend trip from Tucson with 2 kids aged 4 and 5. Loved the ski school, really easy setup, rented helmets at he school and skis/boots were fitted at the school so no hassle trying to work out what boots for the kids. They were very organized in terms of breaks through the day, ensuring kids used the restroom... More

I would like to state the customer service with Arizona Snowbowl is DESPICABLE. I am appalled by their lack of compassion to people's situations. My mother bought my husband and I ski tickets so we could have our first real getaway and she was going to babysit our 12 month old son. We never get opportunities like this. Well, the... More

We lucked out in having the best snow in 5+ years according to the locals. While there are a limited number of trails available, it was not overcrowded, and the boarding was perfect! Grooming at night provided excellent runs in the mornings, although the afternoons did get a little tough with the moguls. The parking situation is a bit rough,... More
