We stopped into The Museum Club after an afternoon hiking the Walnut Canyon nearby (another recommended excursion). What was going to be a happy hour stop for a couple drinks and some vittles turned into an all night adventure. Jane, our bartender, hailed from Washington state 20 years ago. She recounted picking up a shift at the roadhouse and never... More

I have gone to several concerts here and there are major issues to watch out for. 1 - Bands are suppose to start at 9:00 PM (never happens) they start when they feel like it. Usually around 10:00 PM to 10:30PM. 2. You pay for a booth which is big money so you can see the band but then the... More

Travelers, right on 'Old Route 66' this place is awesome! Take journey back to the early 1900's at the Museum Club! You will be amazed.... still going strong and still doing live bands. You won't be disappointed!

Museum Club is touted as Arizona's largest log cabin. It started out as a trading post and taxidermy museum in 1931, just five years after Route 66 was designated as a cross-country highway from Chicago to Los Angeles. The Zoo, as it came to be called, turned into a bar in 1936 and its being serving up honky tonk music... More

A huge log building was originally built in 1918 and re-established for business in 1931. The entrance is amazing! To enter the saloon, you walk up through two branches of an enormous tree trunk. The interior is a splendid old country music bar and dance emporium, complete with tree trunks around the dance floor, neon lights,a band stage, pool tables,... More

There's that one watering hole everyone knows about in a small town. On Wednesdays you can find a good chunk of people here, and after finals or during parents weekend this place gets full fast and you'll find they will be at capacity. That is the only downfall. During the day Miss Jane is the best bartender a girl could... More

The Museum Club is just about the only option for a Honky Tonk offering live country music & dancing in the Flagstaff area. Plenty of entertainment history here as well. The hardwood dance floor is average in size with a very good sound system. Be prepared to pay varied cover charge depending on the band/entertainer they have scheduled. Plenty of... More
