Still a long way to go.

While the new owners are beginning many of the much needed renovations they are coming along very slowly. Hardly any stores open.

This was a very quiet mall, with not a lot going on it seems but it was still kind of interesting to visit. On the back of the mall, is a door that allows you access to an overhead walk looking down on the train yards.

W\e were last here 9 years ago, and I thought it was a much busier place. Virtually no were to eat or shop. Very disappointing.

So I originally came to see the old "Scranton Welcomes You" sign and it took a while but I found it in the mall. The mall itself was very sad if I'm being honest. People were there but there just wasn't much going on. A lot of potential however. There was a place to go outside and see the train... More

We use to go here when I was a teenager (like 10-15 years ago) and it was an incredible mall. I've been out of the state for a while so I don't quite understand what happened to it, but I hope they return back to what they use to be. It still has a lot of potential!!

Has begun to grow again. Shopping options for individuals and families. Centralized location to other downtown amenities and activities.

To make matters worse... there was no more memorabilia from The Office TV series :( hey, at least parking was free! Mall needs some more though

The mall was empty on a Sunday morning. Other then Boscov's none of the other stores had many customers. There are more empty storefronts than stores that are occupied. I wouldn't make this a destination for my trip.

Many stores were closed and out of business. Only pizza and subway to eat there for a meal. Only one major store there. The mall was pretty much dead and disappointing.

We stopped in to see a cast iron art show, which was excellent! There isn't much retail going on, but there are a few places to eat. I'm not a big shopper.

Daniel, So happy you enjoyed the art show. We have a number of new places opening soon. Stay Tuned! Thank you, Kelly Tuey The Marketplace at Steamtown Events and Marketing Specialist More
