A great family outing. Wonderful to see the awe in the children's eyes.It is not one of those places that you need to visit yearly.

Lots of lights and all kinds of Christmas themes while you drive this lighted wonderland. Amazing light show that is a couple miles long and you can even stop to have some cocoa with Santa. I Will do it again.

Visited Forest Park the last time I was in Springfield. Trails are maintained, the aqua gardens are amazing, and everything was very clean. Very calm and relaxing, a great escape from the city life.

Beautifully sculpted lily ponds, fun playscape for kids, the snack shack, THE ZOO, grounds to roam and hills to climb and nooks that are pretty enough for a wedding.

A winter wonderland, have taken grand kids here over the years. A great family outing, setting all into the Christmas mood.

Good park to take your kids. With the small zoo inside, it gives the park more life. It has a side for pool, basketball, baseball and even for pictures.

Beautiful scenery...perfect place to take a de-stressing walk...there is always something going on; baseball games, the zoo, family picnics, etc...never boring inside FP...

I love Forest Park, designed by the renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted! And it truly shows, I love going early in the mornings before the crowd noise takes over the nature sounds! It’s a beautiful place, not to missed! My boys love it!

This was a lovely park but we got lost walking. We took the meadowbrook loop which became confusing with extensions. Thanks to someone kind who was mowing a lawn we found our car again. The main part of the park was very crowded.
