Loved the black bear cubs! Actually, all the bears were adorable- from a distance. Felt the place was too small, but the bears seemed very content.

Our party of 8 spent a fascinating and educational 1 1/2 hours here. The bears are incredibly well cared for and the staff are knowledgeable, hard-working and very open to questions about the project.

What a great experience watching the bear play. My sons said that watching the bears was better than their cell phones or TV. We all wish we spent more time sitting there watching the bears play and react to the crowds.

I want to give fortress of the bear five star review. It is a very good organization for helping bears in public and in the wild ones when mama bear is killed.

This is an easy tour to do on your own. You can get a shuttle from in front of the tourist info center and its about a 10 minute drive from town. Impressive efforts to assist abandoned bear cubs. Not a large facility so it...More

This was so good - able to see brown and black bears in large enclosures loved and cared for by staff. Instead of cubs killed when the mum dies they are able to be cared for - need money donated to their care and rules...More
