We stop here each time we are in Luray and are never disappointed. There is something fun to look at in every nook and cranny. The owner Susan can tell you where each item came from. She had just returned from Thailand where she had purchased several fine silver pieces. Being artists ourselves we appreciate that she has so many... More

Saw the pics online and was excited to go! When I got there, I was a bit disappointed. It's a small shop in the front of the store and the back is a bead store. I was hoping it was going to be a store with lots of unique gifts but it was more like a front room and the... More

Really enjoyed meeting the owner Susan and her displays and jewelry items are lovely. The prices are what you would expect to pay and she has items from local artists as well as from all over the world. She features many classes for those wanting to try out their creative talent. Its worth a visit!

This is a must for anyone passing through the area looking for unique and affordable gifts. Not only do they showcase local artists and craft workers, but they have collections from all over the world. Great place to shop to escape the heat or the cold!

I was shocked to read the last review as I have been in the Shenandoah Moon on several occasions and each time was just wonderful. Susan went out of her way to welcome us and show us the beautiful jewelry and clothing she offers. Some of the jewelry is made from local people out of the treasures found from the... More

After reading the wonderful reviews, I was looking forward to stopping here while we were in town. I'm willing to say that maybe I caught them on an off day, or that my idea of a pleasant shopping experience isn't what others may consider enjoyable. But the owner basically talked AT me, not to me, non-stop, and her know-it-all tone... More

We also sell quality gemstone and sterling silver jewelry from Poland, Mexico, Indonesia, and Thailand. In addition, we carry an array of more affordable fashion and... More

The shop is full of one-of-a-kind items, sustainably made, locally crafted and international...great place to search for unique gifts--clothing, jewelry, scarves, accessories--and a resource for information about what to see and do in the area. Close to the Caverns... don't miss it!

I went into Shenandoah Moon looking for gemstone beads, and their inventory and tools exceeded my wildest expectations. A happy group of knitters in the back of the store made me wish I were part of that scene, too. What I didn't expect, however, was the discovery of some marvelous sun-hats, hand-crocheted in Indonesia, for which I'd been searching for... More
