It's nice to have such a fantastic natural space right near LA. The hiking is great, and the Native American art at the visitor center is truly wonderful.

The hiking trails in Santa Monica have great mountain and ocean views. They are well marked and well maintained. Not all trails are open to dogs and the fines are steep so be careful to check the signs.
