This is one of the more difficult trails in the Dale Ball system. While it is open to mountain biking, this one makes for an even better hike. It is less crowded than some of the other Dale Bale trails and makes for a very...More

This trail is incredible! Once you step away from the trailhead, nestled in a neighborhood of upper-income, secluded, gated homes, you'll feel like you are in the wilderness. When you come to portions of the trail that provide views of Santa Fe, you'll be amazed...More

First half mile or so close to houses (not obtrusive) then quite beautiful views and remote! 3 miles. Modest uphill. Very well signed!

Just a freckle under 2 miles, this loop hike is easy to find and a treat to hike. Some of the vista views seem to go on for miles. Of all the trails, this one provided the best vistas of the area around the city.

lovely short hike; maybe 2 mile loop from & back to parking on Camino Cruz Blanca. Great view of the city and the Jemez and Sandia mountains. Trail maintained in pretty good condition. Some loose rock; good combo of cardio and flat and downhill.

Easy to find. Take Camino de Cruz Blanca to the St. John's College campus. About 3/4 mile further up the road, there are 4 parking spaces on the left hand side of the road at the trailhead, but no on-street parking. If the spots are...More
