Near the Plaza, Sena Plaza is an interesting collection of tourist shops and restaurants. The shops are all very unique and interesting with an eclectic collection of local and imported goods.

This is a hole in the wall just around the corner from Plaza. However, when you pass through the hole in the wall, a magnificent enclosed garden area boasts a massive tree the shades a dining area bedecked with white linen tablecloths and a fine but pricey restaurant. There is also a bar that serves more reasonably priced meals at... More

What a lovely oasis in the middle of the city. I enjoyed the courtyard with its many flowering plants and trees, a welcome source of shade on a hot day. Many fun little shops - my favorites are the Todos Santos chocolate shop, Sock Magic, and Goler Shoes - and nice benches to sit on and eat a picnic lunch.... More

The plaza is now lined with several shops and the famous Casa Sena restaurant. The courtyard is cool and shady in the summer and delightfully festive during the holidays. Naturally we found it first by eating at Casa Sena for a fabulous dinner. It is easy to imagine how nice the courtyard was for the people who lived there long... More

Now a place to sit, relax and listen to street musicians. One side is lines with many local jewelry and souvenir vendors. Many other shops and restaurant's surrounding it.

There are some interesting shops at Sena Plaza, to be sure, and the place is cloaked in historic character. We really should have paused to explore the place more thoroughly, but we just breezed through after taking our lunch at The Shed. Giving Sena Plaza short shrift is a mistake we’ll be sure to correct on our next visit to... More

After walking around the area for a while we discovered Sena Plaza at 125 E. Palace St. This plaza was built in 1864 with more than 33 rooms. Today it's home to many shops but when you move to the center, behind the shops, there is a square that is an outdoor restaurant. The fountain produces a lovely backdrop of... More
