unsurpassed variety of petroglyphs made even more fun by coming upon them unexpectedly. Unlike other reviewers, I found the hike along the ridge to be quite vigorous and would advise having walking poles to provide balance.

It was nice to walk through the area, with good vistas all around. The rock art was not easy to spot - you definitely need a guide to show you where it is.

Nice hiking trails, not too difficult. The petroglyphs are OK but the hiking and the views are worth the visit. We did see 2 roadrunners here.

Completely not managed by rangers actively. You just park, walk, and go find the petroglyphs amongst the hills around you. Really, really neat. Sometimes you will just come around a rock and find a treasure trove of petroglyphs.

Nice hike with AMAZING petroglyphs. Good for all levels. Would be nice to have some more info about them.

We hiked up to the petroglyphs on a rainy day, and I was nervous after reading some of the reviews. It was not too difficult.

Some are recent fakes/copies. Most are more than 700 years old. There are no interpretive signs, so research before you go.
