Welcome to C.G. Higgins, a boutique chocolatier, candy maker, and the home...

Welcome to C.G. Higgins, a boutique chocolatier, candy maker, and the home of Chuck's Nuts Originals. Over 30 years ago. I discovered the joy of making candy, With this experience, I set out to make the best confections in the world. Most recently we were featured on the Food Network's "Road Tasted" with The Neely's. I strive to use the local flavors of New Mexico such as red and green chile. We hope you enjoy our products!

Please visit us at either of our locations: 847 Ninita St. Or 130 Lincoln Avenue, both in Santa Fe. We look forward to meeting you!..........Chuck Higgins

The truffles and other chocolates are amazing. The two women behind the counter could not have been nicer or more helpful. The truffles are sinfully good. The turtles are also excellent. We also tried the sipping chocolate while we were there - we had the Mexican cinnamon- which was just amazing. Calories in a cup but well worth it -... More

We stopped in for coffee, but were told about a special iced tea. My husband loved it. I had a hot chocolate and it was heavenly. Went well with the pecan sticky roll we shared while sitting in the sun at their sidewalk table. Great service!

Stopped here based on recommendations in Trip Advisor, but we were not pleased with the service or the desserts we got. I'd advise buying chocolates and brittle to go. The Chile Peanut Brittle is out of this world!

... if you've been looking for a place in Santa Fe to enjoy Taos Cow ice cream, you may want to try this warm chocolate and coffee shop near the Plaza. We went in on an August afternoon and ordered a double dip - to try two flavors, of course (mine: caramel piñon and dark chocolate). The three of us... More

My wife makes a lot of chocolates for special occasions. She was very interested to see how Chuck did his chocolates, etc. Chuck and his two co-workers were very nice and helpful. They spent over an hour talking with us about their procedures, etc. And their chocolates and caramel corn were excellent.

After being chastised by the owner for getting too close to one of her decorations, my appetite was squashed. Not to mention there was dog hair everywhere (I'm not sure how this establishment passes health inspections). There are much better places in Santa Fe for sweets (and cleanliness)!

We stopped in for an afternoon cup of coffee at the Lincoln Ave location. This is a nice place to stop and relax and enjoy your favorite cup-a-joe. Comfortable seats but limited seating. The chocolate confections selections is quite nice, but not on the inexpensive side. The staff was very friendly and I will visit again next time i am... More

We tried a few places for coffee and chocolates while visiting Santa Fe and luckily stumbled upon this intimate confectionary on Lincoln . The first time we stopped in, a gentleman with dark hair and a mustache provided samples of chile infused chocolate fudge. So creamy with just the right amount of kick. He took the time to point out... More
