On Kakawa's website, their mission is to "reintroduce you to chocolate", and they did that and then some! The shop is adorable, simple, clean and inviting. The woman at the counter was so patient with me while I was choosing my drinking chocolate, allowing me...More

Wonderful little afternoon stop. Everyone enjoyed trying the drinking chocolate, and our three year old tried her first truffle. Nice stop in Santa Fe for something a little sweet and a little different.

We were cold and damp and wanted to sit down. Hot chocolate sounded delightful. We didn't expect it to be so delicious. They have incredible selections - the three of us each ordered something different and I couldn't pick a favorite. They were all outstanding,...More

Had a fantastic visit to this cute little cafe today. Helpful, friendly staff offering samples of the many varieties of hot chocolate drinks. Lots of locals coming and going. Loved it so much we returned for a second round the same day.

Tony and Staff we so welcoming. The chocolate and ice cream was decadent and fair priced. Lots of variety. If you're in Santa Fe, you must stop by. Service can't be beat.

Ice cream is wonderful, but it comes out of the freezer and is really hard. Ask them to microwave it for a couple of seconds. Can't wait for it to melt on it's on time. Bought a piece of the bourbon pecan chocolate perfection.

My husband and I visited last month. I had a cup of hot chocolate and took home a pound of candy. I believe i was misled about how expensive the candy would cost. $66 for a cup of hot chocolate and a pound of candy? Very delicious for sure but was never told how much it would cost. I phoned and spoke to someone who assured me I would receive a call back. It never came. Highly disappointing. Leslie Loomis
