This downtown branch of the library, just a block or so from the Plaza, has a real hometown feel. The staff is very helpful and the collection is varied and in good order. I especially like the magazine swapping section just inside the front doors....More

If you're killing time in Santa Fe, the local library is worth a quick visit. I was disappointed to find that I wasn allowed to remove a book even though I was in town for a week and owned a Chicago library card as well.

I used to work in a library so I like to visit libraries when I'm in a different state or city. This is a well stocked, quiet, and inviting library. The staff was kind and informative.
