Pretty Chapel

Very nice. Wish we could have gone inside, but they were holding a funeral. The grounds are beautiful.

Interesting place to visit, but not a lot to see. Very small, old chapel with an "amazing staircase"

It cost $3 to get in mainly to see the staircase - it is very interesting but the canned music that also included tourist stops took away from the holiness of the chapel . Stick with the st Francis cathedral and Miguel mission .

First, this is a beautiful little chapel. Second, the staircase and the stories and engineering behind it are great. It doesn't take long to see this chapel, only costs a couple of dollars admission, and it is a brief diversion worthy of your time. Look for the pictures of the staircase before the addition of the handrails. This is a... More

This is a pretty place with an intriguing story. It's beautiful and they will let you take pictures. Depending on the time of day it can be quite busy

The "miraculous staircase" is beyond words. It is an unbelievable feat of construction and the story behind it is one that solidifies faith.

The stairs is ver;y beautiful. It is impossible to determine how it was made to balance so perfectly. I could not determine the tpe of wood it was made from. i saw the movie many years ago.

Lovely interior with gorgeous altar and beautiful and mysterious staircase that is amazing. Worth the few dollars for admission and take the brochure that you can borrow to read and help you learn more about the inside. Take a moment to view the beautiful 3 stained glass windows over the front door. They have a large and interesting gift shop... More

My daughter and I went to see the miraculous staircase. It's $3/person, so my husband and son decided to wait outside. The chapel inside is very small, but the staircase is amazing. The tiny chapel fills quickly, so we only stayed 5 minutes (if that). It was nice to see once, but not something that I would pay to see... More
