The Plaza of Santa Fe is its heart and soul for 400+ years. The central city was classicaly laid out by the Spanish explorers and settlers. You will find this design in every Spanish village, town and city worldwide. It is here where everyone congregates, socializes, attends church, conducts business and is the seat of government. The Plaza is surrounded... More

Wander around eating, drinking and shopping, as there is a lot to do and take in. Our favorites are turquoise shopping with the plaza vendors and all of the dining that Santa Fe has to offer.

The Plaza is the heart of commercial , social and watch people area of Santa Fe. It even has a stone dedicated to the Oregon Trail in the Plaza. Shops, restaurants, Native American selling original made jewelry and accessories, music and entertainment, art festival and more bring the crowds throughout the whole day. You miss something if you come to Santa... More

Being that we stayed for 5 nights, including Christmas, the plaza was wonderfully lit up at night, each tree being fully decorated in different colored lights. It was ablaze with he Christmas spirit and very welcoming and we had a lot of company as people tended to congregate at the plaza. Even the daytime held people eating lunch on the... More

The Plaza in the heart of Historic Santa Fe is a must-see when in the city. Surrounded by shops, beautiful architecture and museums, it is a great place to sit and relax. Sometimes there are musicians busking, great people watching.

Great time to visit is in the winter. Everyone is motivated to make a sale so the discounts are really good in most places. I particularly love the Native American jewelry.

You cannot miss the plaza, literally and as a piece of advice. First, It is the heart of the town. Second it's where everything happens, the Indian Market of course, but also the mini Indian market in front of the governor's palace and all sorts of planned and unplanned musical and other events. Lots of things to see, to eat,... More

We love spending time in Old Town Santa Fe ~ a walk around the Plaza is always in order. We were able to enjoy the Plaza with the holiday lights the middle of January. There was a bit of a chill in the air, but with our warm coats it was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately during the day there is quite... More

Quaint historic street with lots of cute shops. Artist shops. Cultural shops. Food shops. Coffee... A nice area to stroll around.
