Overview
More
We have been representing work by Southwest Indian artists since 1949, when Tom Bahti first started the business. Since 1972 it has been run by his son Mark and his wife, Emmi Whitehorse. With locations in both Santa Fe and Tucson we handle some vintage material but our primary focus in on contemporary artists who create jewelry, fetish carvings, Navajo textiles, Hopi katsinas, pottery, paintings, baskets. Between father and son, there are some dozen book titles on various aspects of Southwest Indian art, history and culture. We also offer repair work, appraisal services, lectures and lead tours for various museums.

Looking for fetishes and found several great pieces in all price ranges. Holly, the shopkeeper, was more than helpful in my journey to finding more. Will be back to Santa Fe and will visit here again.

We loved this gallery. Very beautiful local art and craft items. We will definitely come back next time we are in town. The owner was very lovely and the staff are very knowledgeable about their collections.

This has to be one of the top five places to Buy Authentic art, jewelry, fetishes and kachinas. They are real experts on all of these items! It's always a pleasure to talk with them about these items and their prices can't be beat!
