Colourful!

Great market for souvenirs and Mexican crafts. Great restaurants too! Worth a visit for the crafts and the yummy pastries at Mi Tierra Panaderia!

I highly recommend visiting market square. Such a great ambiance with live music. There are a few parking lots near the market and you can easily find parking for $5-$10. We did not get a chance to eat at Mi Tierra, but we did try various snacks(good but a little pricey) being sold throughout the market. Must try are the... More

Lots of dealers have their wares out - seems to appeal to younger generations, though I did see a good cross section. Includes a few eateries, snack places and live music.

We stop to shop every trip. The last visit we purchased a nice leather purse, very well made, for my wife...price was very reasonable for the quality. Also picked up a nice straw sombrero for yard work back home. Too many nice things to list!

We ate nearby and spent time looking around. There are many shops and you can see the same items in several different shops. All very affordable.e

Nothing much to say about El Mercado. It's old, it has shops selling souvenirs. The type you'd probably regret buying when you got home, There's a few restaurants which serve OK food. That's it.
