Mercado/Market –The thing that separates this from blah is that people have been coming here for over a 100 years. I stopped for an hour on the tour bus at the Market and looked around at the many shops full of souvenirs, cheap and expensive....More

Lovely Mexican market just outside of the iconic "Mi Tierra" restaurant--think twinkly little lights with Mexican music floating on the warm breeze. Fun! But be aware--everything grinds to a halt at 6 pm. You snooze, you lose!

The restaurants are excellent in the market--authentic Mexican, delicious. The rest of the market is a lot of the same tourist-y junk you find in many flea markets--just more expensive.

Nice shops and restaurants here. Would definitely go again. We could walk from our hotel or take the shuttle.

the buildings were amazing and the hole area was upbeat and everyone was smiles and polite and there was lots to choose from for buying or just looking around.

My wife wanted to go shopping while we were here and this place was pretty cool . You can find anything you want for souvenirs. There's a lot of stores with unique gifts and lots of places to get a bite to eat or drink.

I agree with a spending cap. I would say for food AND a souvenir-$50. I also would empower them with the phrase "not yet". There are so many high pressure sales going on in this market. Let them know that they are the one in... More

I walked there with a foreign visitor and it was daylight. There were many homeless people along the route and I did not feel overly unsafe but I did not feel super safe either as we walked to and from. I would not walk... More
