Overview
More
CHRISpark is designed as a place of beauty, contemplation, and joy. This one-acre public park features a rhythmic layout of lush foliage, inviting walkways, areas of repose, sites of play, and encounters with contemporary art. Designed by Jon Ahearns of King's Creek Landscape Architecture and consulting landscape architect Rosa Finsley, CHRISpark features lush and Xeriscape friendly plants which are suited to the South Texas climate. Dedicated and maintained by the Linda Pace Foundation, the park celebrates the life of Chris Goldsbury, the son of Linda Pace who founded the Linda Pace Foundation. The park captures exquisite examples of nature's beauty and artistic moments. Respected artist Teresita Fernandez conceived several visual experiences which commemorate the potential of everyday occurrences.

What a cool little oasis in an area that totally disguises its presence. Across from a towering art conservatory, this quaint little park has little geyser fountains at the entry that used to emanate forth from the sidewalk and shoot up for kids to play...More
