Our kids loved the carriage ride around downtown. So did we. The driver constantly was telling us little facts about buildings and the area. He was quite knowledgeable. We would happily go on another tour again

We hitched a ride with Chris and her horse Hoss. I couldn't resist his angel wings. The ride was only about 20 minutes and cost$40. Chris was bubbly and friendly. She was full of historical tid-bits of info. Some of the information we'd already gotten on the riverboat tour but she gave more details. Of all the "touristy" things we... More

I read the reviews for 3 carriage services before picking Yellow Rose. I booked my reservation for the 30 minute ride using their website and received a reply within minutes. The Open carriage was not available, but I was given the Cinderella carriage at the same price (typically addition $10 charge) with no prompting on my part. As promised, I... More

We decided to take the kids on a horse drawn carriage ride. I wanted to spend more time exploring the King William district, so we decided to splurge and do the long tour. My 2 year old was squirmy, probably because we'd already had a very long day! The driver was very nice, and towards the end allowed my son... More

We took a Cinderella carriage ride our last night in San Antonio. It was great. We were driven by the Alamo which was lit up at night. The driver was very friendly and gave us lots of history about the area we were in. I loved sound of the horses hooves against the pavement. The ride was about 20 minutes... More

We took a carriage ride on Saturday 20th June 2015 in the evening and it was an awesome experience. The horse was 2300 pound and his name was Texcido(tuxs). Beautiful horse and long carrige where we were enjoyed a 20 minutes ride. I had even sat with Jennifer who was riding the carriage, it was an awesome experience to sit... More

Unfortunately, this was a disappointment - not the actual ride but everything leading up to it. The hotel bellman recommended Yellow Rose because I wanted a "Cinderella" Carriage ride (I made sure hotel knows to never recommend this company again). I called and made a reservation and paid for it over the phone. When arrived at the arranged spot, our... More

Oh Barbara, I am so sorry that you had such a bad experience. I just now read your review (I'm not very familiar with TripAdvisor; but will be more intuned in the future). We were indeed having problems with management back then and have since removed that person. If you ever want to take another carriage ride in San Antonio,... More

Chris was our guide and she was awesome! We took the 60 minute tour of the King William district. This is an awesome area of old historical homes. Chris also rode around some of the downtown areas. This is a great way to see the city. I highly recommend this company and the tours. If I had time I would... More

My granddaughter and I took our very first horse drawn carriage ride in San Antonio and we loved it. It was dark so didn't get to see a lot of stuff but it was magical and we enjoyed it very much.
