When I first visited I didn't know what the store was about, you walk in this long narrow hallway and think, 'should I enter this?" SO GLAD I DID, the hall is narrow due to a wall which was built to accommodate the best display...More

We visited the Alamo and then the History Shop. Great little shop. Small dig site and Lights and Sound Alamo display were very well done. My teenagers enjoyed it too. Very nice man running the place. He was very knowledgable about all thing Alamo.

The shop is small, but the main focus is the model of the Alamo before the battle started. For $5, you can hear the singer Phil Collins of Genesis narrate you the story behind the Alamo. Apparently, he is a huge fan of the Alamo...More
