Easy access to drive around the base streets well marked & the Air Force museum very educational & well air conditioned. The reception center was easy to walk around in or if needed wheel chair accessable

We visited Lackland Air Force Base for our daughters BMT graduation and were surprised at how nice the base was. It was very clean and some of the buildings were very nice. Great place to visit.

We were at Lackland for our airman's BMT graduation. The grounds are nice, and the base easy to navigate once you get your bearings.

Great place to visit. Everyone was very polite. Very well organized. Airmen were easy to reach. Every family with someone graduating should experience this.

It is POSSIBLE to stay on base. The question is, do you qualify. And my best answer is that you should call Air Force Inns and ask them directly. I have NEVER been turned away, but I have heard others say they have. I think... More

Yes. During the ceremonies there are designated spots. After that pretty much anywhere and there are the ciggy stacks everywhere.

Yes, you can smoke on the installation in certain areas. All buildings are smoke free but there are areas outside where you can smoke.
