We came here for our son's basic training graduation. The place is beautiful and clean. Of course the military staff are all so friendly. You can tell there is a lot of pride in this place. There are several offerings of shops and food on the base as well.

My son graduated from basic training this year. We got to explore the base a little more this year. Last year, my nephew graduated but we didn't do much on base.

Our child graduated from the Air Force. We found the base a little confusing and hard to navigate. Plan to do a lot of walking if you go for a graduation, as everything is very, very far spaced from one end to another. Their PX is standard with prices the same.

As a local, I know that it's easier to navigate the base early in the week, as the basic training traffic begins mid-week and continues through the weekend. For visitors, give yourself plenty of time to get a pass and get through the gate. The base facilities are very nice, although I have not been able to check out the... More

I can't say enough about this base. We went there for my sons graduation and were there for 5 days. Everywhere we went, everyone was extremely nice and helpful and even though they deal with over-excited and kind of stressed out parents/family/friends of graduates, I NEVER ONCE was made to feel silly or like I was putting anyone out at...
