A 45 minute movie at $11.50 per person. It was good for information purposes if you know nothing about the Alamo and why it is considered a historic/famous place. The movie acting was a little hokie at times but the message was enough so you can get the idea. I'm glad we did go and view it before we visited... More

This is a natural first stop in a visit to the Alamo, which is just across the street. The IMAX theater is part of the Rivercenter Mall, which has its very own, covered parking garage. Parking here is about the most expensive there is downtown BUT if you watch the "Price of Freedom" IMAX film about what happened at the... More

Had a great time, the service was great and the draft beers were excellent. I didn't order any food so I can't rate that.

A well done quick review of the background leading to the seige but a bit too long reinactment of the battle. Go early in the morning and avoid the crowds

You need to see the film before you see the Alamo. Film will help you understand more what the men and women in the Alamo experienced. Film last about 45 minutes but you can pick up a coupon for free popcorn from information desk in the Rivercenter Mall. Ticket price is around $11 for adults and there are discounts for... More

This was a great place to go and get away from the crowds and the heat. It is located in the River Center Mall. The shows were great. We saw "Hubble" and "Born to be Wild". They were 3D and I highly recommend both films. The price to see these 2 films were reasonable and if you keep your receipt... More

The film reinacts what happened at "The Alamo." It is a must see before you walk on the grounds. It will help all to understand the story and the event. Well produced, but a bit gorry.

This was a wonderful depiction of the actual events. My children (4 & 6) saw it as well and although it was a little graphic for them, I do not regret them seeing it. We discussed the events and made sure they understood it was actual events, not a story. We then walked to the Alamo...they were engaged and had... More

This was an outstanding film about The Alamo; I ended up seeing it twice during my visit to San Antonio as I loved it so much. It was so much better than the short (15 minute) film shown at The Alamo museum (although that one was not bad). The IMAX experience was great; it was like actually being there. The... More

Was expecting more of a 3 D movie or screen that in all around. Move of a regular type screen.
