Located in Hemisfair park, this is an interesting museum. When we were there, all the rooms were filled with photos from people in different combat zones around the world. It's not a large museum so did not take long to go thru.

It was a big place but not as many photos displayed like I would have thought. We stopped in on our way to the Tower of America. 2 minute walk away from it

We enjoyed the exhibit of the Monarch butterfly photography and some intriguing photographic art of "science plus fiction". Obviously the exhibits rotate so could change before we get there again. The building was beautiful and the staff very friendly.

I expected to see original pieces of the mexican archaeology, however most of the pieces are copies; it is not indicated in the description. The guy who was attending the door, very kindly.

Half the display area was closed so there wasn't a lot to see. Upstairs are a lot of reproductions. We had expected current art from Mexican artists. Most everything was 30 or 40 years old. Staff was friendly.
