Great place to visit and spend time. My father is a Vietnam Vet and he was happy to visit the memorial. Take the time to read the poem and absorb the meaning of the memorial.

In the park-like setting south of the Tobin Center for Performing Arts the Vietnam War Memorial is adjacent to the Korean War Memorial, separated by an American flag on a 30-foot pole. Both of these are somewhat misnomers. Such memorials—like Washington, DC’s Vietnam War Veterans...More

We are huge supporters of our Soldiers and our Veterans, it makes my heart happy when anyone makes a point to recognize them.

We were at the Tobin and went over to see this memorial. It was so realistic with a very moving poem. The sculpture captured the horror of war.

We walked to the Tobin Performance Arts Center and this was near by. The space is small yet the sculpture is very powerful and moving. Nice courtyard with terraces, peaceful and solemn. Nice place to reflect for a few moments.

Nice memorial to have a look at and reflect on the horror of wars. Small memorial but leaves a lasting image with the act of mate ship shown in memorial. Also don't forget to have a look at the Korean War memorial on the other...More

I have walked past this memorial several times, but never took the time to seriously look at it. This is a beautiful tribute to those brave men and women who served in a war without recognition.

As a Vietnam veteran, I usually stop to see all memorial in my travels. I thank San Antonio for having this memorial as many town do not have one. This huger than life statue really gets to a veteran.

The statues and exhibits although solemn allow us to appreciate the SACRIFICES of the men and women who faced so many challenges in the theater of war and at home. It is also a place where families of survivors or Vietnam War veterans can gather...More
