I am quite the "Train Guy" with an understanding wife. While camping in San Antonio I wanted to check out the museum and especially the HO Layout. We went out on a Friday morning. The credit card machine was down and the lady had no...More

A well organized display of full size transportation items. Trucks, car and train going back to late 1800s and forward. Ride a full size train for a short distance. Several wonderfulodel train setups make fun viewing. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Maybe a...More

My husband is the train buff so I would not have picked this place, but it was very nice. He really enjoyed it. The folks working there clearly love it. We visited the first week of November, so the trains were still decorated from Halloween,...More

This is a fun little place! My kids enjoyed the train ride and getting to see all of the neat rain memorabilia. Could use some updating but staff was friendly and informative!

If you like trains this is a great place to spend a day. Good photographic opportunities off the beaten track.

I have been to many railroad museums around the country. This one had been let go a little bit, but much is being done to get it back to its former glory. Definitely worth a look.
