Wear comfortable shoes, there is a lot of ground to cover here. Beautiful artwork fills some of the halls, take a minute or two to read about the sculptures.

The convention center has been recently enhanced with new ball room space and beautiful restrooms. The sound system was excellent and there was ample room for large crowds to circulate.

Beautiful building, great conference rooms but they could use more. The conference I attended had to redirect people to a hotel up the street because, I assume, this venue did not have enough meeting rooms. The common area was huge and impressive but a colossal...More

Large convention center located on the outskirts of Hemisfair Park. Building seems huge and is set back far from the street so it's a little bit of a walk to get thru. It's location is close to everything; the park, LaVillita, downtown, river walk, etc....More

Very nice venue, although it may require quite a bit of walking from one area to another. Centrally located near the Alamo. Bus service is available to other parts of the city.

Attended conference. Huge venue so it never felt crowded. Good walking shoes a must have. Nice access to the Riverwalk. The grotto a nice spot to have lunch. Dining options are extremely high and not very good. Pack a lunch.

What more to say? I have been to a lot of convention centers and this one is a bit oddly designed. I'm wondering if there have been additions over the years. For example, to get from one part of the second floor to another you...More

Don't know for sure but suspect they have shows that have animals in them at times; didn't see any dogs with anyone and no signs posted. Probably depends on the function.
