I was quite surprised of the size of the park, is so well maintained, clean and the best thing for me has a nice dog park filled with friendly people and very well behaved dogs I loved it

We were staying at a hotel near the airport with a little extra time and wanted to get some fresh air and exercise. We enjoyed the hiking. The park is well maintained and safe and everyone was friendly.

McAllister Park is one of, if not the largest city park in San Antonio. There are plenty of biking and hiking trails, lots of soccer fields and baseball fields, covered pavillions, dog park and playground for younger children in the front along with restrooms. Best...More

The park has approximately 10 miles of dirt/rock trails that are fairly well marked. I'd like to see a few more marking on the 6 mile (blue) trail, but after a few times turing around I made it. Highly recommend bringing your phone to track...More

I like Mcallister park its a great place to go for a walk with your dog or friends I've seen people BBQ on the park grounds its a peaceful place for a nice afternoon walk
