The Riverwalk is a must to see and do when in San Antonio. Where else can you walk along a river, which is a block or so beneath the busy streets above, and enjoy restaurants, bars, and shops where people are having such fun?

The river boat tour is an excellent way to understand the river walk and to get your bearings on a first visit.

Love the River walk. Little restaurants and shops all along the walk. We took a short boat tour down the river.

We walked and took a water taxi up to the art district and Pearl Brewery area, beautiful landscape. It was so worth the fare.

A most enjoyable relaxing experience and can be very romantic at night too. So guys, this is a great " first date" idea. Dinner at one of the River Walk restaurants then a nice stroll around. The city truly has made this an inviting adventure. Stroll over towards the front entrance to the Mall at the Riverside entrance and listen... More

One of my favorite places to go while in San Antonio. I highly recommend walking the Riverwalk and taking in all the sites. The food, the culture, the shops... it's all good.

You can tell a lot about a city how it takes care of it's waterways. San Antonio makes sure that the river which flows through the city is clean and pedestrian friendly. I have visited Downtown San Antonio last October 2016. The main appeal of San Antonio River is its cleanliness and pedestrian friendly walkways. Lined with trees and shade,... More

Even though the river walk is a tourist attraction with many restaurants, live entertainment, museums and people, I was able to find quiet peaceful spots along the Riverwalk to think, meditate and relax. I enjoyed the diversity. You can party or relax. It's all good.

You gotta experience this for yourself. Day, night, summer, winter -- every time it's a unique experience. There is so much to see and do and drink and eat and watch and listen to and engage in or just sit and watch it go by. No matter what your after, you will find it here on the River.
