Canyon Springs Golf Club review

The golf course has a great layout. The fairways are fair yet challenging. The greens had been recently aerated, so the greens will be a lot smoother in a couple of weeks. The... read more

The layout was fun and the variety of tee boxes allowed players of all ability to enjoy the course. The greens were a mess. They had recently been aerated and that was disappointing. When making the tee time, we were not notified of this condition. Paying full rack rate for inferior greens is just not right.

Keep it in the fairway. There are lots of opportunities to lose your ball in the brush or trees with a poor drive. If you can manage a drive close to the fairway you can count on some beautiful views and fun shots over creeks and up and down the hills. One of my favorite courses that offers plenty of... More

Nice course with plenty of elevation. Mostly attentive but sometimes understaffed. Bar/barfood rather mediocre, even though much of their additional revenue stream from weddings and catering in their facility. Golf carts in good shaped and cleaned/ready the vast majority of the time.

This is a beautiful golf course and very well maintained. The lack of service is a shame! This is a private course where we put our own clubs on the cart that we had to assume was ready as there was no one to guide us to one. The ice chest was empty so we found a hidden chest of... More

This is the 2nd best new golf course I played this year. It's in really good shape. Tee boxes are mostly elevated giving great views. A couple holes have 2 fairways to try and reach green. We enjoyed the course so much we played another 18 right after we finished first round. Also, people working there were really nice.

The golf course has a great layout. The fairways are fair yet challenging. The greens had been recently aerated, so the greens will be a lot smoother in a couple of weeks. The greens have plenty of challenge with very few "flat" putts. I am looking forward to playing Canyon Springs again.

After 6 trips to SA our 7th was likely one of our last-no more graduations left-so I wanted to make sure I visited some of my favorite tracks. Pecan Valley is gone...cursed developers! But I got to golf Cedar Creek and Canyon Springs. Played Canyon with my nephew who in graduate school and really enjoyed the day. Thanks to all... More

This was our final day, and this place was really well worth the day, Course was in great shape greens were a bit fast but dried out during our round. This course has some great views and some really changeling holes. The staff was really great; we were the first people out and didn’t have anyone one behind us made... More

I have played this course since it was built over 20 years ago and the infestation of so many homesites has eliminated the former rural and pristine ambiance of this course. We played here in late March on a warm Spring day, the pace of play was terrible because there are no marshalls on the course. There was no one... More
