This is where the 1968 World's Fair was held, and it's really pretty cool. There are several old homes, being restored, and just a nice place to go.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained park, close to the Convention Center and the Alamodome. We enjoyed all of the different fountains, and had a very pleasant stroll. I understand that the children's playground here is exceptional, but we had no reason to check it out.

This place is very centrally located, not far from the Alamo complex and river walk area. The park is large, full of water features, installation art and play gear for kids!
