This place is very colorful . I stopped in on my last day here in San Antonio and bought souvenirs. They have something for everyone. I bought some beautiful jewelry. Would definitely recommend and will return if I ever return to San Antonio .

Although many of the stores seem to carry the same items -- lots of brightly colored clay or wooden items -- it's worth visiting because it offers something very different from downtown. Most items are imported from Mexico. Most of the merchants are Mexican or...More

The shops were interesting but there was nothing unique about the different shops since they sold the same items in every shop. I would say that it is not worth the long walk on a hot day.

Came here with my nephews and the loved it. They have a place for face painting, caricature artists, live music and much more. It's a hidden gem here in San Antonio.

Nice to talk a quick stroll around, but all in all every shop is exactly the same as the one before. The restaurants here are awesome, but the shops were boring.

Lots of Mexican goods to buy. Prices seem normal...not expensive but not dirt cheap either. We went in Saturday so it was a little busy. Had live amateur singing that my children really enjoyed. There is a man that spray paints photos thats really interesting...More

Although this place is touristy, it is a much better place to shop for authentic Mexican items as well as other souvenirs versus the River Walk. There are booths and small storefronts with a good selection of talavera items, leather goods, corn husk dolls, and...More

I was asked to answer your question. I am from Canada so I can only guess. I would assume that venders would not shut down on a holiday.
