The San Antonio Zoo is first class - large array of animal exhibits - the staff is very helpful and they keep the grounds clean. A very pleasant experience

We visited here after dark and there was a event going on It was amazing to walk through the gardens in the dark with the lights on the water and having music and activity going on. We did not visit any other part of the park.

Really big park that is pretty to drive through, but as far as I can tell, the only attractions are the zoo, train, Japanese Tea Garden, and Witte Museum. The Botanical Gardens seem to be nearby. Very pretty to drive through.

the place was packed on a early sunday evening, you could see alot of kids birthday parties were winding down, they need more parking, there were some thugs driving there low riders alittle too fast with all the small kids around. the large pavilion in the park was pretty cool. and the river is just right there with the ducks... We spent about 1-1/2 hours just walking the paths in the park last Sunday. Very relaxing and pretty. Along the San Antonio River with good assortment of big old trees and other plant life. Lots of picnic tables with grills - we plan to return this autumn or winter to have a cookout. We often go to the zoo and... More

Brackenridge park is an institution. It gets very crowded at times as a result, especially on weekends when everyone on the planet brings their huge families. But the walks are nice, the water is pretty and its right next to the zoo.

Brackenridge park is a jewel in the center of the city, Not a huge park but a nice refuge. Locals spend a great deal of time here especially during the Easter Weekend. The rain ride is great for the kids.

We walked around the park for about an hour enjoying the trees and paths. Just like any park there are places that need some work, but it's very pretty. Had plenty of picnic tables and areas for children to play.
