I was blown away by the experience we had with Essex Heritage. First, you do a beach landing - a similar experience to Normandy! The tour guide (Heather) was fantastic and gave us great information about the shore line and the scenery as we sailed...More

Went on the small Naumkeag boat (may 12 of us), the only boat that takes the public to Bakers Island Light Station. It's a quick 30min ride from Salem Harbor past small islands and sailboats, and a short walk up to the lighthouse (you have...More

We went out twice this past summer and both times were amazing. It's not cheap and may not be for most kids, but if you want a few hours to get away, this is perfect. Lovely views, rustic places. The beach is quite rocky, so...More

We charge $35 for our 2 hour unique excursion. It may not be on budget for some people, but the cost of gasoline and our boat capacity being only 18 means that we need to charge a comparable rate.
