I cannot say enough positive things about this shoppe and it's owner! I will start with IT IS NOT A MUSEUM ! Wonderful, unique pieces inside that are one of a kind and wouldn't fair well with careless kids touching them. Should you happen upon...More

Ummm where has this place been all my life?! Traveling up from Baltimore got some great prints, keys and a embalming poison glass bottle. This pace has stuff for the whole price range so I am kinda confused as to the other reviews? This place...More

A small, one room store with a couple hundred oddities. A lot of it tends to run towards memento mori, or medical, although it runs the gamut. Not my taste, but a lot of people will really enjoy this.

Came to Salem for Halloween and five hands was my number one place to visit with the goal of buying anything and I was not disappointed. I bought an embalming kit from 1910. The owner gave me an excellent deal with shipping back to Florida...More

This place is surreal! Where else do you walk through the door and stare face to face with a real human skeleton (available for purchase)?!! Insane. Legitimately the most terrifying and disturbing place I have visited in Salem, and that's saying something! I don't know...More

Stepping into Fivehands is a surreal experience. As a long time collector, I had heard great things about this place through other collectors. I was impressed by the diverse antique collection that the owner has put together in this well curated shop. Every item has...More

One of my favorite places to visit as a local! They always have new and interesting items available, and Christopher is one of the nicest business owners in town. He is polite, informative, and genuine. There are items of all price ranges, whether you are...More

Stopped in over the weekend during our annual Salem trip. The store was interesting but nothing incredibly interesting like things I've seen in other oddity shops. If you're in the area, then check it out, if not I wouldn't say go out of your way....More

What an absurd review. I will let the majority reviews speak for themselves. Anyone who comes to Fivehands or has been here knows it is the opposite of "typical tourist trap" Salem has a lot of kitsch and plastic items. Fivehands has vintage items, antique,...More

I have been a collector of unusual antiques for a long time and was excited to finally get the chance to visit Fivehands in Salem. The shop is amazingly curated by a kind and knowledgeable owner who really knows a lot about unusual antiques. The...More

The shop is small but filled with wonders. If you loved the tv show Oddities you will like this store. That had a decent selection of oddities. Most of the oddities were low end. They did not have any high end pieces like freak animals,...More

Greetings, thank you for the review and stopping by. You said we had no high end pieces and had only "low" end pieces? We had no gaffes? We had a few, and human preserved specimens, human bones, rare antique scientific equipment from Europe, Victorian tombstones,...More
