Great place to begin a visit to Salem. Covers all of Salem's histotical high and low points, including an accurate exhibit on the witch trials.

On a family trip to Rockport, we decided to see this museum and it did not disappoint. Great fun and a look at history and how times were back in the 1600's. We learned a lot and enjoyed the presentations.

Gorgeous old building, a must see for a Hocus Pocus fan! Beautiful area to walk around in, sadly the museum was not open the day I was there

rich in the city history, but the problem is that there are not many things, americans are not very known for keeping old story artifacts

Good museum that shows more than witches in Salem. Best to do this one first to give a wider perspective of town. Curator in period costume plus guitar was helpful.

$4 per adult - the Smithonian it is not. It covers the witch trials as well as the history of Salem. Most of the exhibit "things" appeared to be replicas. Apart from that it was interesting.

This small museum highlights the history of Salem, not just the witch trials. The curator (in his period costume) was very informative and a pleasure to talk to.
