A great historical opportunity

My guide was very knowledgable about the area, the history, and had some very interesting tales! I also found some interesting information about my favourite board game Clue!!

I initially did the Salem Laughing Tour at 6pm(?) then the Salem Smuggler's Tour at 8pm on Oct 30th, which was just as exuberant as I imagine the 31st would be the next day, but less crowds; I parked some block north of the Park/Commons; it's beside some Mall; just google Thai Place Restaurant/Remix Church. It is only a walk... More

First of all, we couldn't find the tour guide. We looked around the building that was advertised, but couldn't see anyone, a sign, or anything. We asked around, and nobody had any idea. Finally, we called, and Chris answered. He was standing about fifteen feet away from us, completely nondescript, no sign, no anything. We were a little confused. Overall,... More

I bought three tickets for the Murder Mystery tour; the tour is inspired by an actually interesting old murder that happened in the 1600s or so and you walk the salem streets to sites involved in the murder. The tour guide had very bad delivery, just citing a bunch of names and dates without really weaving any sort of story... More

We took the kids to Salem to learn about the history, not just the witch tales. Chris was awesome and really brought the history to life. After the tour every time we saw 2 brick houses together with outside wall fireplaces our 9 & 8 year olds would say "We know what's under those houses!" Best tour ever!!

The history of the tunnels beneath the town of Salem is discussed. Architecture of the tunnels and suspected entrances and exits are visited. Tour is great for any history buff who wants to learn about a very well kept secret...and the reasons why.

Chris was awesome, he really know almost everything about all the place, any detail he can tell you about it. Too much historical facts about the town that almost the people of Salem didn't know and he tells you make you feel great. Take the tour with Chris you will never regrets.

Chris knows a lot about the history of Salem and is passionate about sharing it's story. I was lucky enough to have a private tour on a beautiful day in April. He has crawled around many cool places under this town and has some pictures, facts, and tales to tell of these streets, it's people, and the tunnels that connected... More

I'm from Ireland, this tour was organised by my aunt who is from Boston and I cannot speak highly enough of how informative, interesting and detailed the tour is. Chris the tour guide is an absolute hero, he did the tour for us during a blizzard and it was still of the highest quality. If you plan on visiting Salem... More
