I thought this was the best of the Witch related venues. Seeing the tiny dungeons was shocking. The inhumanity of it all came to life. The acting was well done. As someone who has taught about this for years, I would take students to this...More

We bought the three-museum pass that included this, the Pirate Museum, and the Witch History Museum, and this was really the only place we went to in Salem that was a bit meh. It opened pleasantly enough with a skit depicting one of the trials...More

Not really what I expected but exceptionally done. I could see either of these ladies in the first half of the tour in that time period. All 3 ladies were knowledgeable and made it interesting. I was disappointed to know this is not the actual...More

This one was nice. You get a little play in the beginning than head on down to the dungeons. If you don’t like musty smells beware

Yeah, I can see how some people would find this a tad cheesy but I thought it was really interesting to see what the jail cells looked like. Interesting to hear how people in the jail had to pay for their water, food, rent, etc.

My son and I walked in five minutes after the performance began. Its only a 30 minute presentation. The woman at the desk kindly got us in quickly to this one because we had a tour that would conflict with the next scheduled performance. We...More

This whole performance was ok at best. A 10 minute performance was done in old English and left the younger kids confused. The dungeon tour was pretty basic and gave the kids a laugh more than an educational experience.

You may just end up in the stockades... This is a good place to visit with history of the living conditions in jail in 1692. Not the happiest thing to do in Salem but gives you a good understanding for how horribly the victims of...More

My family of 4 came here and learned a lot about the Witch trials while at this museum. They provide a good performance of the trial and give a good tour of a recreated dungeon. It can be a little scary for little kids but...More

It was an experience you would only get in Salem and worth the money. It makes as a good memory. My favorite part was the dungeon.

I would say for that age group, the witch history museum. They both have mannequins but I think smaller children would better enjoy the Witch History Museum.
