This was a cool experience! We listened to someone explain the history behind the Salem Witch trials and then watched a short play with dialogue original to the time. Afterwards we took a tour of the dungeons in the basement with more information from the...More

We stopped here first upon arriving in Salem. We bought the 3 ticket combo. We were lucky enough to be the only visitors at the time. The play was very good - we thought it might be cheesy but our 11 year old was captivated....More

We really enjoyed this. It was small, and cheesy, and none of it was the original stuff like I was hoping, but the reenactment was great and the kids enjoyed it. It was very informative for everyone and the 9 kids in our group were...More

This was a very educational exhibit that provides an amazing history of the area and the people how made history. Keep the young ones close it get a bit scary done in the dungeon.

The entire tour only took about 30 minutes. I expected more, our guide said she would meet us at the end to answer any questions, she was no where to be found. Cheesy at best.

This place was nice because they re-enacted the trial of one of the victims of the witch trials. After the trail you get to go down into the dungeon. It was crazy to see how small of a place they kept them in.

Super informative and interesting. It was kind of morbid seeing the cells and how much those poor people went through. Very cool though!

With the trial excerpt, and the display downstairs you get a feel for the trials if 1692. Be sure to see one of the original beams from the dungeon itself.

I remembered having gone as a kid, my husband had never been so I took him (we bought the 3 museum pass). Granted yes it's not in the original location but it's not safe to be there as the original location collapsed years ago, it's...More

I would say for that age group, the witch history museum. They both have mannequins but I think smaller children would better enjoy the Witch History Museum.
