This was one of the first 8 rivers to be designated wild and scenic and the only one that is a National park. Clean water, great for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking. Stop at the visitor center at 401 N Hamilton street for more information.
Great place to take in autumn colors and fall outdoor activities! We stayed at Wild River campground which is easy access to the river. Great biking and hiking trails with great stops along the river. Nice nature center to visit too.
