Beyond gorgeous! It is unreal. I have never seen anything like it. A must see if in the Tucson area.

It is worth going over this pass—and stopping for photos or to hike. The scenery is incredible and sunsets are magnificent!

Jaw dropping beauty. Just sit and breath. Feel small.the desert vistas are vast the blue blue sky is far reaching.

You will definitely want to get out of your vehicle and take a panoramic shot. Coming down from the mountain seems a little scary but it's worth it.

It's a nice ride up through gates pass on the way from Tucson to old Tucson, and Saguaro National Park

Just did the drive and stopped at all the pull offs. Was too hot to do any hiking. Can't wait to come back and do the trails.

Was a beautiful short, 4 mile drive/passage. We took the drive right after visiting International Wildlife Museum. Would recommend doing if you are in the area. *Self guided. Approximately 4 miles one-way.

Great little scenic drive. Perfect for watching the sunset. Nice little hikes along the way as well.

This is another steep twisty road with some great views, you can hardly miss it if you are going to Saguaro National Park. There are several viewpoints that give panoramic views of the valley and the saguaro marching up the mountainsides.

All above are true. There is a couple of parking lots off the road and a covered viewing area but no picnic facilities, no grills or bathrooms. Just parking and trails.

You can stay in the parking lot and see the sunset or go to a paved overlook area right next to the lot.

At the top of the pass is a nice parking lot. Looks like paths go out several directions.
