Easy to drive or walk to with a great view of the city and surroundings. I like the lack of fencing. It could use just a little bit of cleanup.

Literally! In central Tucson, named for the 30' high "A" for the University. Free! Short drive to summit, wonderful views of Tucson, environs.

Nice view, terrible mess. Does Tucson/Arizona not have parks maintenance anymore? May not even be a safe area. Nice view, nicer available.

A Mountain is a great place to take pictures of the city. You can also hike or bike the hill but traffic makes it challenging. Better to use nearby Tumamoc for cardio.

What a pretty walk and great first impression of Tucson. Walk up the hill right by the A and get a lovely overview of the whole city.

Wind your way up the road and just soak in the views. I miss that the A is no longer red, white, and blue, though. That was pretty awesome. I hope someone considers repainting it like that in the future.

The great views of Tucson from A Mountain are sometimes missed among the other many attractions in the area. It is really worth the effort to get up there.

We drove to the top on a beautiful February evening. The city lights stretching across the valley surrounding the mountain are beautiful.
