We have visited Tucson many times over the years but somehow always missed driving up to Senitnel Peak ("A" mountain). This year we decided we had to see what all the hype is about. The view is amazing: all of Tucson to the east, and...More

Great place in Tucson to get all-around views of the city and for beautiful sunsets. But parking is limited right in front of the A, and be careful that you do not drive off the pavement to park since there is steep drop off from...More

A spectacular location to view all of Tucson and to witness magnificent sunsets. As noted by others, the only downside is the amount of broken glass. The site could use restroom facilities too. Overall, well worth the trip up the mountain.

Take the time to drive up the "A" mountain, to view the sprawling, panoramic Tucson. It's an easy drive, and you will be amazed at the size of the total Tucson area.

We could drive to this peak which was a relief. The views are worth it and the walks are relatively easy.

Over the past 40 years of residency we have brought many visitors here. It is not as impressive as viewing from particular spots in the Catalina Mountains but it is closer to central Tucson. Unlike the El Paso viewing spot, it is relatively free of...More

The drive from the city is short. It is cool to see the A that was constructed in 1915. There are places to pull off to get a view. The hick to the summit was fun but there is broken glass everywhere.
