After being trapped in an airplane for several hours, I needed to take a walk. I chose the U of A because college campuses are great for walking. Pretty campus but not beautiful. If you go, be sure to check out University Blvd. just west of the campus. Many shops, bars, and restaurants.

Best part of a beautiful campus is the mall behind the main building which has an outline of the battleship, USS Arizona which shows how HUGE this battleship was. Plus the memorial, ships bell and each crew member listed with their own medallion honoring their service. Very emotional.

The U of A campus is spread out within a historic piece of the Tucson city footprint. It's close enough to downtown that you can walk or even better, ride a bike (Tucson is rated high in the Top 10 bicycle-friendly cities of America). I'm not a student, however I do attend musical events at several of the university's events... More

I did not go to U of A, I have no academic connection with U of A, and I don't follow college sports, but I am completely impressed with the wide range of events and activities on the U of A campus. Many are science-oriented, like the fantastic Steward Observatory and the Mirror Lab, and the fascinating physics lectures. But... More

It's sunny every day and it's warm in winter. There're so many cacti in the campus, which is very cool. People can buy souvenirs in the bookstore. Things with wildcat logo are very attractive.

We cycled a lot while we were in Tucson and the U of A campus was en route to pretty much everywhere we went. The campus is quiet and beautiful and there are many beautiful sculptures on the grounds.

Never seen such a nice graduation. Gorgeous with great guest speakers with beautiful views of the mountains and sky. Would love to do that again sometime soon.

Worth visiting the university's art museum. Eclectic collection with some excellent work. Most notably a Rothko painting.

We went to see a show in Centennial theater. It was a great show. The Campus is large lots of greenery well cared for and loved. The theater is older but was clean.

While visiting the 4th Street area we walked through the University of Az campus. What a nice campus (I envied the students who go there) with beautifully maintained grounds, a bookstore worth spending plenty of time browsing (there is a full service Starbucks in there) and home to the AZ State Museum. Definitely worth walking through if you are in... More
