We had a great tour today of downtown Tucson as we walked and visited multiple restaurants including a spot for tea and a “kava bar.” The samplings of food were delicious and the tour group was friendly—locals and out of staters alike.
Karen was a terrific guide while she gave us a history lesson of Tucson and discussed the history of the restaurants we visited —and passed by ( for a future visit). It was a great afternoon. We will tell our friends and family who visit Tucson about the Tucson Food Tours.

Karen Brown was an excellent tour guide. She freely shared her knowledge and love of the downtown Tucson culinary and historical scene. She’s friendly, engaging, and made everyone feel at ease. Highly recommend this walking tour to learn more about downtown Tucson and get some great restaurant bites.

We had so much fun, loved this tour. Chris was wonderful, very knowledgeable, easy going and prepared. The pace of the tour was just right. We had time at each venue to relax and get the feel of the place. Distances were not too far and the history along the way was interesting. Chris readily answered questions and gave us recommendations for more fun. Really enjoyed the murals and the other guests on the tour. Found out about interesting cocktails they enjoyed. Looking forward to another one.

The Brewery tour is a blast. We had a great time with Chris showing us the breweries and sharing his knowledge of the downtown food scene too. We plan to do this again.

Had a great time sampling some of Tucson's downtown restaurants. Our guide Karen was fun and informative. She highlighted some historical locations in town while guiding us to several restaurants to taste an offering from their menu. She even made recommendations for additional restaurants that weren't on the tour. A fun way to spend the afternoon.

We had a great time on the food tour! Chris was a fabulous guide and very knowledgeable about the area and the food scene. The restaurants we stopped at are all fabulous. Each stop on our tour was at a locally owned restaurant, no chain restaurants. Make sure you come hungry!

This tour was excellent! We hit several great food places as well as some interesting historical and architectural places that I found interesting. Karen was our guide and her knowledge of the area and the restaurants we went to was fantastic. You could tell that she had been to these places before with her family as she told us the different menu items that were good in addition to what we had. She was also very knowledgeable about the area and the historic and architectural places we stopped at. Highly recommend just based on the food, but Karen made it even more enjoyable.

First off the tour was set up great meaning the places we stopped at were great and the food was amazing. My wife and I have done plenty of food tours and this was especially good because of our guide Karen! So much local knowledge and very helpful with advice about all sorts of places not only restaurants. At the end of the tour we asked about a theater and if the box office would be open. She did not think it would be, but after leaving us and saying our goodbyes at a store she came back to let us know she just walked by the theater and it was open. Great tour and wonderful guide, thanks Karen 😍

Just finished our second tour with Chris. Learned even more about the food scene and enjoyed some delicious samples.
Highly recommended for introducing friends and family to Tucson. This time we grabbed a couple neighbors for a relaxing Friday.

Yes it is not just a tour for a certain season. I really enjoyed the tour! I took the 4th ave tour that was great. The guide told us about the history, community and knew the owners of the restaurants we went to. Really had done his homework. I would highly recommend it!!

Hi! Yes, we do have tours available while you are in town. The tour last about 4 hours and we visit 6-7 restaurants. The tour tickets include all non-alcoholic beverages but we welcome you to try some of the wonderful craft cocktails or local beer that most of our stops offer. Our food tastings can change depending on what is in season but a few things you may try are tamales, pizza, ice cream, pastrami and corned beef, thai peanut quinoa bowl, to die for brittled brussel sprouts, burratta plates, fresh granola or homemade coconut cashew bars, or goat cheese spread, and coffee.
Our tours generally sell out in advance so please purchase your tickets as soon as you can from our website.

What's the price, what's the food and how much walking is there?

The price is $44.99 per person. We cover 2 miles of walking with at least 6 stops along the way. The samplings vary from pastries, ice cream, hummus, quinoa thai dish, pizza, prosciutto, burrata, and pear plate...Brussels sprouts too!
