Ann was an exceptional guide. We visited 3 restaurants and an ice cream shop. Along the way she pointed out many points of interest..historical as well as recent city changes and colorful murals. I really recommend taking this tour early in your visit to Tucson as it will give you guidance on local restaurants as well as activities.

Hello wer4travel, I'm sorry but it looks like you were on a different tour. We are the original Tucson Food Tours where you get more food and have more fun!! We are a food tour with a side of history so our guests enjoy 6 different restaurants not 3. We hope you take the time to join our tour in the future!

My family was visiting from Boston. There was no availability over 3/19 or 3/20 to accommodate a party of 6. I emailed TFT. They were kind enough to open and arrange a tour for us for Sunday 3/20 with Chris. It was a great experience. We visited 6 establishments and Chris shared some fun and interesting historical insights as we moved from one restaurant to the next. The food was outstanding including items I wouldn't have typically selected to eat but once you tasted it, it was fantastic! Exposed us to interesting (and delicious) food items and ingredient combinations. Chris' love for Tucson was evident and contagious which made the experience so much more authentic. Highly recommend the tour and Chris in particular!

We had a great experience on the Downtown Tucson food tour on a recent Saturday, 11-3pm. Our guide, Karen B., was fun, interesting, and very informative. Most of the participants were locals, and everyone was interested and learned something from all the information she provided. The walk was just the right amount of exercise and she kept us well-hydrated and in the shade whenever possible. We visited six restaurants, some iconic must-dos and some new and very innovative. Everyone was well fed. All in all we highly recommend this tour for visitors and locals alike. You won't leave hungry!

This was an awesome tour. We visited seven different places and sampled foods from eight local eateries in the downtown district starting at the Congress Hotel. Chris our tour guide was very knowledgeable about, not only the places we visited, but of all culinary aspects in the Tucson area. He was very personable and made everyone in our group feel very welcome. Aside from the food aspect of the tour he was also very knowledgeable and informative of the Tuscon history. It is very obvious with his enthusiasm that he is very proud to live in Tucson. The tour was well worth the 3.5 - 4 hours that it took to walk around the area, learn about the history of the area and taste the samplings from the local eateries. Thank you for a great time Chris...our group thoroughly enjoyed it.

Chris was a knowledgeable, friendly guide. We had two people in our group that had special food needs. He explained different options and called ahead to each restaurant to have them make allowances when possible. We learned a lot about Tucson, food and restaurant owners. It was 4 hours of great food and walking. We were all very full.

My dad and I took a tour with Tucson Food Tours on February 29 and had a wonderful time. Our guide Chris was knowledgeable, personable, and knew how to keep a very large group moving and engaged. We visited 7 spots which was more than we had anticipated and despite being gluten-free I had a ton to eat (although there were a couple of things I couldn’t experience). It was a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. Thanks Chris!

A group of us, 3 couples joined 2 other couples on Holy Saturday for the Downtown Tucson tour. Chris was our tour guide. He was abundantly knowledgeable about the local history and shared his favorite places and food as well. He was professional, courteous and fun to be around. Our first stop was the Scented Leaf and all were very happy with our significant amount of choices for cold beverages. Next up we had the best pastrami (and a few of us are from NY and KNOW pastrami) at The Hub. We walked over to El Charro for delicious tamales. On to The Donut Bar for very unique French toast a la egg, cheese and bacon sandwich, a half of which was too big for most of us to finish. We sampled Sonoran hot dogs as well downtown before ending with a phenomenal cup of homemade ice cream at the Hub. Some of us live in Tucson and we all learned something about our city history and culture. From the beautiful murals to memorial garden (Jan 8) to the Courthouse and everywhere in between, it was a well worthwhile 4 hours. Thanks so much. Can't wait to bring more out of town guests to this experience.

This food tour was exceptional due to our guide Chris with his extensive knowledge and vast experience with so many restaurants in the Tucson area. His passion for sharing the history of each restaurant, the menus, recipes and owners/chefs and why he choose the meals to be served was very enjoyable and helpful to understand and appreciate what was served. The pace of the tour was perfect to enjoy all 7 stops and not feel rushed so that we could feel the full vibe and atmosphere of each stop. I would highly recommend this tour and you would be very fortunate to have Chris as your guide. He is one of the most dedicated, personable, respectful and knowledgeable guide we have ever had.

Chris, our guide, entertained us with the history of downtown Tucson and peppered his talks with personal anecdotes that made the tour feel more intimate. The food and the tea were excellent. The pace was easy and the time between stops just right. I thoroughly recommend this tour!

Chris was a great tour guide. This was a food tour with some history, humor, and interesting facts on the side. We've been on food tours in other cities that were the opposite so this was a great experience. We're local folks and love to try new restaurants and today we tried a few we've had on our list. Chris is a true foodie and gave lots of great recommendations on established and newer places. We thought the price was very reasonable and would recommend this tour for visitors and locals.

Yes it is not just a tour for a certain season. I really enjoyed the tour! I took the 4th ave tour that was great. The guide told us about the history, community and knew the owners of the restaurants we went to. Really had done his homework. I would highly recommend it!!

Hi! Yes, we do have tours available while you are in town. The tour last about 4 hours and we visit 6-7 restaurants. The tour tickets include all non-alcoholic beverages but we welcome you to try some of the wonderful craft cocktails or local beer that most of our stops offer. Our food tastings can change depending on what is in season but a few things you may try are tamales, pizza, ice cream, pastrami and corned beef, thai peanut quinoa bowl, to die for brittled brussel sprouts, burratta plates, fresh granola or homemade coconut cashew bars, or goat cheese spread, and coffee.
Our tours generally sell out in advance so please purchase your tickets as soon as you can from our website.

The price is $44.99 per person. We cover 2 miles of walking with at least 6 stops along the way. The samplings vary from pastries, ice cream, hummus, quinoa thai dish, pizza, prosciutto, burrata, and pear plate...Brussels sprouts too!
