We have been coming to Tucson for several years and actually stayed just a block from this park our first couple of visits, but assumed it could not hold a candle to the Desert Museau. So did not visit here, until this year. Loved it! More plant variety, with plants not native to Tucson. Saw many butterflies and hummingbirds and... More

I always sigh deeply after getting out of my car in this parking lot. There is something soulful about Tohono Chul. Don't plan to rush through a meal. Linger in the guest shop. Stroll leisurely through the gardens. Do yourself a favor and visit.

These gardens provide that fantastic opportunity to connect with nature and re-balance oneself. Every time of year is a good time to get centered throughout this urban oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Oro Valley. Thank you for visiting Tohono Chul and we hope to see you again soon. More

Great place for an outdoor breakfast or lunch! Meander thru the park and see desert foliage and wildlife. Birds galore - some wanting to eat right from your plate! My moms favorite place to go for her birthday or mothers day.

This place should satisfy anyone who likes Southwest greenery. Very well kept up and a jewel in the middle of commercial activity. Also, a nice place to have a kind of unique lunch.

We had a very pleasant visit to this garden. The garden features mostly plants native to the area around Tucson but also has some exhibits of dry land plants from other countries. It's in a lovely setting with a good view of the mountains. Make sure to take a good look at the geological wall. Someone had a great idea... More

It's funny you should say that, we are releasing our new outdoor directional signage in the next few weeks! The team is very excited to be able to finally update the signs. We are glad to hear how much you enjoyed the Geology Wall as the inspiration for the exhibit was from Dick Wilson's love for Arizona geology. Thank you... More

I am on vacation from Mass and this popped up as a fun activity to do. Unfortunately my friend and I had arrived after all the guided tours had finished, but we still had a great time walking around and learning so much! There were different trails and so many things to see. There were Docents around and they were... More

We were staying at the Omni resort but like to try local eateries, not just hotel restaurants, and we love gardens, so this was a real find. The restaurant's a great place for breakfast on a nice day -- interesting menu options, good coffee, and tables outside on a lovely patio where you can enjoy views of the surrounding botanical... Although the $10 per person fee can be steep for most families, this is a great spot to bring your relatives from the Midwest and back east. In one relatively small park, you can see and learn about native desert plants, a riparian zone, water harvesting, food plants of native peoples, and even see some endangered vertebrate species (fish and...
