A bully good historic attraction, not to be missed: the home of Theodore Roosevelt from 1902 to 1906, considered the "Summer White House," a beautiful 23-room Victorian mansion estate that also includes a 37-acre National Environmental Study Area of forest, tidal salt marsh and bay beach.

I/We love going to National Parks/ Historic Sites; as that they are always maintained and staffed with some of the best caring people. Sagamore Hill is the home of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the US. Although born into a family of privilege, he...More

Tickets must be bought in advance for a selected date and time but it’s well worth the trip. Such an interesting and well preserved old house. We had a well informed and nice tour guide (Milton). Learned A LOT about Teddy Roosevelt and his family.

This home has somewhat limited hours and you should make online reservations to visit. The cost is minimal. The home is just as it was when Teddy and Edith Roosevelt lived in it. It is a little dark and tight inside with a tour group...More

Visited on a Friday so you must take guide tour. About 45 minutes, but well worth taking. Ranger did an excellent job. The grounds are beautiful and so much history to absorb. A must stop.

I ordered my tickets online in advance. I recommend you do this as each tour is limited to just a few people due to small areas.
