Boasting a brilliantly talented resident acting company, directors and designers, the Trinity Repertory Company produces some of the finest and most important theater of the 21st century. Be sure to order tickets online or by phone as they are often sold out for all performances. There are tow theater facilities in one building and there are time when both theaters... More

Great venue for a show, you are no more that a dozen rows away from the stage at the back of the house. Professional and funny. Staff was helpful. Able to pre-order intermission drinks is a great service!

The Christmas Carol at Trinity 2016 was the worst show I have ever seen! When did the show become a joke with one liners, a drunk scene, and the whole meaning going out the window. Now I understand when it's called "liberal" arts. It's terrible when a story with a moral theme isn't good enough as is, it has to... More

This was by far.... and I mean BY FAR... the worst of the worst Christmas Carol shows I have ever seen in my life. For any critic to say this was anything but awful means that they should never ever be a critic. Trinity Rep is one of my favorite places to go and the place is fantastic BUT they... More

Forgive me but you would literally have to be Scrooge not to have a wonderful time at Trinity's "A Christmas Carol". Every year there's a different twist to it but it's always a heartfelt and often hilarious rendition of the classic tale. Well worth 2 hours of your time if you can get a ticket - they sell out fast... More

First time here. What a lovely little theatre. No such thing as a bad seat in the place. A christmas carol was on and it was just so well done. The seating is steep and there are lots of stairs and not a lot of leg room, be warned. They do have wheelchair accessible seating though.

Our 13th season with Trinity Rep. Excellent acting. This year's Christmas Carol was far different from the previous 13 years with a more modern twist to Dicken's classic. Not one of our favorites. We are more traditional. Still, the acting was superb, set wonderfully decorated, songs not Christmasee enough for our taste. We love Christmas Songs and we really didn't... More

I have been to several plays at Trinity over the years, but never been a huge supporter until recently. I had the opportunity to go to an open house over the summer, and I took the "back lot" tour. I was astounded at what goes into producing a play at Trinity. No detail is overlooked. I decided to volunteer as... More

Trinity Rep consistently provides excellent theater. The resident acting company delivers great performance after great performance - regardless of whether the play is an old favorite that you know well or is a world premiere performance. As a season subscriber I've seen well over 70 different plays or musicals through the years and I keep subscribing because they do such... More

Having recently returned to trinity this year after a decade-long hiatus, I can honestly say it's one of the best things about Rhode Island. Turns out, they've even instituted a new plan where anyone under the age of 35 can enroll in the free program which allows them to purchase $25 tickets to each regular season play. How can you...
