We did not spend the night at the hotel. We walked the grounds and took the evening ghost adventure. Travis was our guide an did an excellent job. Tour covers history of how and when hotel was built and the Stanley family contributions to the town of Estes Park. Tour covered several buildings and the haunted tunnel. We reviewed pictures... Took family to Estes Park for the day. Included a tour of the Stanley and it was well worth it. Very interesting history and we were able to go to areas not allowed to general public. The information really changes your prospective on the entire area. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Estes Park. Bring a camera where... More

After a wonderful dinner at the Cascade, we went on the ghost tour. Our guide, (and I'm so sorry I can't remember his name) was perfect. His approach was personal stories mixed with understanding of skeptics. He didn't try to scare us or even tell unrealistic stories but wonderful and descriptive. The tour is both historic and full of ghost... More

We had a 2 pm tour with guide Rachel. Rachel was an excellent guide! The tour is approximately 90 minutes and covers the history of the Stanley family, and the hotel. The tour includes many areas of the hotel including the upper floors which are only accessible to guests and tours. The tour is well paced with plenty of time... More

This should be rated higher on things to do in Estes Park. It was an amazing tour, house, and history... Especially for Stephen King fans. It's a must while in Estes Park. I also had an amazing tour guide, thank you Rachel!

This is a must thing to do! Request for DD... she brings the dead to life and I absolutely loved the tour! We plan on doing it again, but with our whole family. I learned a lot and will plan on watching Stephen Kings Movie in his version...

We booked the 2pm Stanley Hotel Tour on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great time. Highly recommended. We wound up being the only 2 on the tour so we received a more personalized tour and more time for questions. Our tour guide, Jofia, was friendly and very knowledgable. She took her time and explained so much about the Hotel,... More

Just went for a visit and did not actually stay at the hotel but loved what I saw. History, labyrinths, great for visiting National Parks. The house might scare you if you have seen the film but to me it was a beautiful old but well kept building.

It may have been the air and views but I fell in love with the Stanley Hotel and its quirky history. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, I wish I remembered her name. Even the oddest of question she was able to answer. Personality was definitely there for her and she was very approachable. I must admit I have never... More

My Better-Half is a skilled hunter of things which are difficult to prove and or validate as a form of apparition or non-human state. We ventured into many rooms, as we did experience a little activity in a few places, but not in areas we expected to inquire some activity. Our timing was not too bad, but our assessment is... More
