Rented a canoe at first but we were a little scared so we turned it back in for a motor boat. That was awsome! Glad we made the change. Staff was great with the change. Very inexpensive. Beautiful ride. An hour was just right for...More

Our attempt to kayak on Lake Estes was a series of comical events. I will admit that calling ahead for specific information probably would have eliminated some of our frustrations. So, having been rained out twice as we attempted to launch our boats, we finally...More

We so enjoyed renting a couple of Peddle Carts and driving them along the shoreline from the marina to the visitor's center and back. Beautiful scenery, and a little bit of a different experience, which was very memorable.

They have motorized and non-motorized boats for rent for groups or couples, plus fishing for the lake. Prices are reasonable.

We visited Lake Estes & the Marina several times on our 2 week trip to Estes Park. We fished (caught 4 delicious trout!), rented bikes, a pontoon boat and our kids played on the play ground. The Marina staff were always quick to answer questions...More

We rented a pontoon boat, received excellent advice from employees about fishing gear etc. The rental rates were very reasonable. The rain came in about 1 hour after we set out. Too bad it didn't have tarps to close us in. Would have been relaxing...More

Rent a bike cart. It's fun! Beautiful, scenic, fresh air and good exercise! A nice relaxing walk. Check out the Estes Park Resort along the way.

We rented poles and bought gear for trout fishing. Worker there gave a lot of good info on where to go and how to have the best luck. Kids caught fish so the advice worked. I'd go there again.

Most tourist places really gouge you but not here. Prices for boat rentals are very reasonable. Get there early in the morning for best experience and views.

Kids loved renting the bikes and pedal car, the 5 person pedal car is really hard to pedal going uphill so we wished everyone would have go regular bikes. Also rented the kayak. Rental was super easy and fast.

October is a gorgeous time of year to come to Colorado! Expect cooler days of upper 50's and mid 60's. The evenings cool down even more. Be prepared for wet or colder weather though, as our Rocky Mountains are unpredictable... More

Also, I'm from Northern California, where we can enjoy the rivers in the Summer. Not so in Colorado. You might find a shallow creek to splash in, but otherwise, expect ice-water!

10 passenger pontoon boats on Lake Estes are $55 an hour. If you buy a Rocky Card for $10 (the Safeway in Estes Park sells them and proceeds go to charities in Estes Park), it says for Lake Estes Marina "Rent equipment for... More
