4 generations of family visits to crescent city and crescent beach. Every year we come several times a year. Long beach that is full of potential for fun.

This beach is sweet with easy beginner type waves OR waves you do tricks on if you are a pro. So, it's fun for everyone. Trying to get back into the surfing contests / tour up and down California coast.

But you will enjoy the waves, combing the beach, and relaxing. Much to explore and do here and listen to the mighty pacific roll.

This beach has corse sand perfect for walking on. It is covered in small smooth stones line shells which I grew up collecting for luck. Our day t was covered On mist and beautiful. This is a beach for walking and pondering -- not for sunbathing in my opinion -- but it's so worth the trip!!

Cold & windy the day we went, but fun none the less. Lots of interesting wood pieces. The waves were crashing & the sea was gray.

The recent high surf and storms had caused a serious subsidence of the cliff sides on the last mile or so on the southern edge of the beach. If you are a geologist this is made for you-but it did make walking the full length difficult as the surf was still very high and I had to walk around the... More

This beach is what most visitors expect. In my experience, it is never warm enough to swim-some do. The view of the hills and out to sea is beautiful. The sand is level and it is an easy walk. It is an all together pleasant beach to visit/walk and perhaps picnic.

Enjoyed walking the beach (low tide). It is a clean beach. Few seashells can be found. But all in all it was great fun to see the ocean.
